Cricket-Indian eves look for consolation win against England

Indian bowler Pooja Vastrakar said her team will try to salvage pride when they face England in the sixth T20 of the tri-series in western Mumbai city.

The Harmanpreet Kaur led-Indian have not been able to register a single victory in the tri-series that also features Australia. Australia will play England on Saturday (March 31) in the final of the tournament.

Vastakar, while addressing a news conference, admitted her two opponents had outplayed them but added that the hosts would leave no stone unturned to make a match out of the dead rubber on Thursday (March 29).

After the tri-series, India will play England in a three-match one-day international series and all the matches will be played in western Nagpur city. Veteran cricketer Mithali Raj will captain the hosts.
