Soccer fans in Moscow delighted over France victory

"Allez Les Bleus" rang through a central Moscow square on Saturday (June 30), as France defeated Argentina 4-3 in a nail-biting match that sent Lionel Messi's side out of the tournament.

Bars around Moscow were packed with soccer fans and traffic slowed on a bustling Moscow street, where fans from around the world have been gathering for beers, music and soccer viewing.

Even locals who were not into soccer said the atmosphere was infectious.

Argentina continued to fight over the last 20 minutes but Sergio Aguero’s header from Messi’s cross in stoppage time was too little, too late.

Many fans say France’s performance could take them through to the final.
