U.S. East coast prepares for Hurricane Florence

Residents on the U.S. East Coast prepared for Hurricane Florence on Tuesday (September 11), as it strengthened to a Category 4 storm and headed in their direction.

Residents shared videos on social media of queues at gas stations and empty supermarkets.

Florence grew larger on Tuesday and is expected to bring days of rain, deadly flooding and power outages lasting weeks after it slams into the U.S. Southeast coast later this week.
