No evidence anyone else was involved in London attack

UK police have found no evidence to suggest more people were involved in a deadly knife attack that claimed the lives of two people, said Britain’s top counter-terrorism officer on Saturday (November 30).

Speaking to media, Assistant Commissioner for Special Operations Neil Basu said that London’s police forces were working together with forces in Staffordshire and the West Midlands to make sure there was no outstanding threat to the public.

Wearing a fake suicide vest and wielding knives, 28-year-old British man Usman Khan went on the rampage on Friday afternoon at a conference on criminal rehabilitation beside London Bridge. He was wrestled to the ground by bystanders and then shot dead by police.

Basu added that investigations were ongoing into the attack and that extra police patrols would be deployed throughout London.
