Robot serves coffee at California airport cafe

A coffee-making robot is now serving up lattes at San Jose International Airport – the gateway to California’s Silicon Valley.

Cafe X opened on Tuesday (December 03). The coffee stand features a robotic arm that can reportedly make 10 orders within minutes.

The company calls their robot cafe “the world’s most advanced system for artisanal coffee, tea, and more.” Cafe X says their shop uses locally-sourced ingredients includingCalifornia-roasted coffee beans and milk from nearby farms.
